Police have confirmed that the death of a woman in her 60s, which led to a large emergency response in the village of Bembridge yesterday (Sunday), is not being treated as suspicious.
At around 15:20, the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service dispatched 2 ambulance crews and an enhanced care paramedic to Copse Butt, of Brooks Close.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary also responded to the scene, where officers remainder for around 4-and-a-half hours.
It has been confirmed this morning that officers attended following the death of a 62-year-old woman.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
