An 80-year-old Friends of the Animals volunteer is jumping out of a plane to raise much-needed funds for the local charity.
Pat Metcalf, a volunteer at the Friends’ charity shop in Sandown and adopter of 2 of their dogs, most recently Trixie, will be doing a tandem skydive from Sandown Airport on Thursday 8th June at 12:00.
To support Pat in her brave endeavours, you can make a donation via www.friendsoftheanimals.co.uk.
UPDATE ON 8TH JUNE 2022 – Unfortunately, due to last-minute cancellations, Pat’s skydive had to be cancelled.
A new rescheduled date has been provisionally set for August. Specific dates are yet to be confirmed.

Well done, very brave
