The President of The Isle of Wight Caledonian Society, Lin Patey, threw her annual party for all Scottish dancers on the Isle of Wight last Saturday (29th June). Dancers from all over the Island came together, which contributed to the dynamic atmosphere and a fantastic time was had by all at Gurnard Village Hall. The warm weather made it a challenge to dance away the night and the well-kept garden at Gurnard Village Hall was a most enjoyable respite in the evening sunshine. If you want to learn Scottish Country Dancing there will be a beginners and improvers workshop run by 2 local teachers at 10:00 on Saturday 21st September 2024 at Gurnard Village Hall. Any age welcome and you don’t need a partner. For details contact Judy on 07587179570.

Yes, it certainly was a great evening. Good dancing and a lovely selection of food.
