Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision on the outskirts of Newport this morning (Saturday).
Police have closed Burnt House Lane – between Downend and Shide – as a result of the crash.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have mobilised to the incident alongside colleagues from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
UPDATE @ 10:50 – Burnt House Lane has now reopened to traffic, according to Police.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said that 3 persons have sustained an injury – 1 being serious – following the collision involving a Ford Kuga and a Renault Megane.
Police confirm that they were called to the incident shortly before 08:15, close to Little Pan Farm.
