Islanders should be on the lookout for a BBC Radio 1 DJ this morning, as part of the latest Breakfast Show event.
Breakfast Show host Greg James has been tasked with finding all 30 of his fellow Radio 1 show presenters, with each of them dotted around the United Kingdom, but no one actually knows where.
If they do come across someone they feel is a Radio 1 DJ, the public is encouraged to approach them and ask ‘Are you a Radio 1 DJ’.
A large articulated lorry sporting the BBC Radio 1 livery was seen down at Medina Quay last night before it was seen heading into Cowes and Trinity Landing at around 07:30 this morning – although there is no guarantee it will be there all day.
Island Echo readers have already started speculating who the mystery person might be, with Saturday day host Katie Thisleton the front-runner at the moment.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for any Radio 1 presenters.

Exactly my thoughts, BBC is a safe haven for serious sickos, I don’t pay a license, don’t watch their rubbish. I’m not funding an organisation that protects predators.
I feel that the BBC have become too racist against white British.
They shoe horn in anyone who isn’t even into the most unsuitable programs especially when presenting programs that are not typically associated with their normal field of interest.
