The coronation of King Charles III will be shown on a big screen at Osborne House next month.
Islanders are being encouraged to grab a picnic blanket and enjoy a once-in-a-generation occasion with friends and family at the former Royal residence of Queen Victoria.
On Saturday 6th May the coronation will be screened live into the grounds of Osborne in East Cowes – much like the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton – now the Prince and Princess of Wales – in 2011.
Entry to the event is free but booking is essential.
Doors will open from 10:00 and throughout the day ice cream will be available to purchase, as well as snacks from the onsite cafe.
