The number of Islanders claiming the unemployment benefit Jobseekers Allowance and fallen once again as the summer season arrives.
Figures released by the Office for National Statistics have revealed that 1,221 Island residents were claiming JSA in the month of June, a fall of 158 compared to May this year and a year-on-year fall of 534 compared to June 2014.
During the month of June a total of 841 JSA claimants were male and 380 were female.
