Bembridge Sailing Club will be opening its doors to the community for a special Bank Holiday Open Day next week (Monday 26th May), with a packed programme of free, family-friendly activities.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the club on Embankment Road between 10:00 and 14:00 to enjoy a fun-filled day by the water. The event will include sailing taster sessions, live music from Jukebox Jazz Man and a performance by Isle of Wight magician Luke Lamont.
There will also be a BBQ, games, and a variety of children’s activities to keep families entertained throughout the day.
This year’s Open Day will also support the club’s chosen charity, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust (EMCTrust), which will be present at the event to raise awareness of its work with young people recovering from cancer.
Entry to the event is free and no booking is required. Organisers say they are looking forward to welcoming visitors of all ages for a relaxed and engaging day at one of the Isle of Wight’s most picturesque sailing venues.
