Gritters will once again be out treating the road network overnight amid concerns of freezing temperatures.
It’s going to be another cold night across the Island, much like it was on Christmas Eve. However, there is no black ice advisory in place today.
On Christmas Day morning there were at least 5 road traffic collisions, despite the roads being treated.
Island Roads say they will be undertaking winter maintenance on the normal routes commencing at 23:00 tonight.
Motorists are being advised to drive carefully and according to the road conditions.
