Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team, Needles Coastguard Rescue Team and Ryde Inshore Rescue were tasked to conduct a search of Ryde Beach during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).
Solent Coastguard mobilised the search and rescue assets at 00:48 amid fears a missing woman may have been located at the seaside.
A search was commenced but after a short while, further information was received to suggest the individual was safe and well elsewhere.
The emergency teams were stood down by 02:00.
