Vecta House Care Home in Newport has proudly hosted its third annual Classic Car Show, delighting residents, families, friends and staff with a day of vintage vehicles, live music and shared memories.
The event, held in partnership with members of the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club Ltd, showcased an impressive collection of classic cars that drew a large crowd. The display sparked joy and nostalgia among residents, many of whom reminisced about their own experiences with similar vehicles from years gone by.
The afternoon’s lively atmosphere was further enhanced by a performance from local musician Hanna Nixon, whose music had guests tapping their feet and even dancing. Hot dogs and a variety of refreshments were also enjoyed by those in attendance.
Tanya Everson, Lifestyle Leader at Vectis House, has said:
“This event is a highlight of our year.
