A number of vehicles have been involved in several minor road traffic collisions on the Island’s roads this morning (Wednesday).
On the outskirts of Newport, a Mini left the carriageway on Forest Road close to the junction with Betty Haunt Lane. The vehicle hit a bank.
Vehicles are also reported to have left the road on Middle Road near Tapnell.
In Merstone, a vehicle left the road and came to rest in a ditch resulting in the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service being called to the scene.
No serious injuries have been reported.
