Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision on Forest Road near Newport tonight (Wednesday).
2 vehicles have collided near the junction with Betty Haunt Lane, resulting in 1 of the vehicles coming to rest in a hedge lining the carriageway.
1 fire appliance from Newport and Police are on scene but no one is thought to have been injured in the incident.
The crash occurred at around 21:10.
Motorists are advised to take extra care when travelling on the Island’s roads tonight with heavy rain causing flooding in many areas.
