UPDATED: The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are attending a single-vehicle road traffic collision outside Branstone Farm on the A3056 this evening (Friday).
2 fire appliances from Newport are on scene after the Peugeot 206 rolled onto its roof at just gone 21:30.
The main through road from Apse Heath to Arreton has been closed in both directions as a result of the incident.
Thankfully, no one is trapped inside the vehicle. The occupants are being checked over by paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
UPDATE @ 23:02 – The road has now re-opened under Police direction.
Fire crews are standing down from the incident having confirmed that no one is trapped inside the vehicle.
Recovery of the overturned car has been arranged.
