A woman who is thought to have ‘fallen asleep at the wheel’ of her Skoda Fabia has escaped any serious injury after crashing into 2 parked vehicles in Newport this evening (Tuesday).
Police and paramedics are currently attending the incident on Sylvan Drive near to the junction with The Willows having been alerted to the road traffic collision at just before 17:00.
A Peugeot and a Mini have been slightly damaged in the incident. Recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.
The road remains open under Police direction.
