CAODS’ NEXT PRODUCTION ‘DIRTY DUSTING’ TO HIT THE STAGE LATER THIS MONTH

The next production in Cowes Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society’s 127-year history is at Trinity Theatre, in Cowes, and is a fun comedy by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood. The comedy focuses on 3 traditional cleaning ladies, Elsie, Gladys and Olive who are suddenly told they are ‘over the hill’. Will they be able to survive redundancy, or can they find an alternative source of income and maybe get their own back? A strong cast has been assembled, featuring Dave Newton, Fiona Gwinnet, Julie Stonestreet and Maria Wilkinson. The play is set in the 1990s in the north of England with performances on 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, and 27th April. Curtain up at 19:30. This production contains adult humour.
