A burst water main has left homes and businesses in parts of Shanklin without supply this morning (Thursday).
Engineers are on site at Blythe Way and are working hard to repair the water pipe, with hopes of supplies being restored within the next hour or so. An update will be provided at 10:40.
Locals may notice some discolouration or low pressure; this is completely normal when there’s been a disruption to the supply and is only temporary.
The incident occurred shortly before 05:45 and was officially recorded by Southern Water at 06:41.
Southern Water apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Get used to it, when the country goes bankrupt there will be a lot more of this…..
