Police on the Isle of Wight have arrested the driver of a BMW on suspicion of drug driving for the second time in just 10 days.
Officers from the Joint Operations Unit stopped the white BMW 1-series saloon on South Street in Newport earlier on this evening (Sunday).
A roadside drugs wipe was completed resulting in an indication for the presence of cannabis in the driver’s system.
The male was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and taken to Newport Police Station, where a sample of blood was collected for analysis – the same process carried out just 10 days ago when the same man was arrested on suspicion of the same offence.
The driver and his passengers have also been reported for breaching the current COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
take his car of him
What a twat .duh let’s do it again and maybe hurt or kill some one this time , twat
Or perhaps let’s do it again cause he got away with it last time.
Crush his car and make him watch.
JD preferably from the inside.
Why drive?when he could have flown home!
How did he get off the last time ??

Probably not got off but charged and awaiting court appearance for the first offence.
‘Joint operations unit’ How appropriate.

Justice is no longer about keeping the public safe, it is about doing what is asked by those above, and no more. So, if he maims someone, unless they die, little punishment will be awarded. He will go on in his carefree life, until someone is killed, then a sentence for a while will ensure it is removed from society briefly. Best hope it is not someone you love… Read more »
