Binstead Primary School near Ryde has been closed to students today (Thursday) as a result of there being no heating or hot water.
Parents were told of the issue earlier this morning with hopes that the school would open slightly later than normal. However, engineers have been unable to fix the boiler issue and therefore the school is to remain closed for the rest of the day.
Work will be undertaken on the faulty boiler today with a view to opening the school as normal tomorrow (Friday).
Staff have apologised for any inconvenience caused to parents.
