Bestival have announced a brilliant new challenge for 2015; to break the world record for the Largest Number of Buskers in One Place.
Following on from the success of gaining a Guiness World Record last year for the world’s Largest Discoball, organisers have got that record breaking urge again.
Rob da Bank says:
“We do love breaking records at Bestival, but this one isn’t all about a world record… It’s about a huge Summer of Love sing-along.
“Our mates CoCo and The Butterfields suggested it would be a cool idea to do a little jam session and bring busking to Bestival, but with your help this could turn into the biggest busk ever! So dust off your tambourine, polish your triangle and pack your banjo for September”.
CoCo and the Butterfields will lead the way on Sunday afternoon, performing a version of the timeless Beatles classic ‘All You Need is Love’, and it is hoped at least 400 revellers will join in and play along at the main stage to break the record.
All you need to do is sign-up using the form below to let Bestival know how many people they’ve got.
Kazoos, tracing paper & combs, triangles, maracas, bongos and beyond, there are a multitude of simple instruments you can bring along to the event between 10-13th September.
