Popular BBC Radio 4 programme is to be broadcast from The Memorial Hall Freshwater on the Jubilee Bank Holiday, Friday 3rd June 2022.
The programme is broadcast live, just after 20:00 on Friday evening and then repeated on Saturday lunchtime, after which listeners have an opportunity to ring in with their own views to ‘Any Answers’.
Any Questions was first broadcast in October 1948. Every week it visits a different part of the country with a panel of 4 speakers who answer questions from the audience. The programme provides the opportunity for people to challenge politicians, policymakers, writers and thinkers and is chaired by Chris Mason, the BBC’s new Political Editor.
The panel for Freshwater has not yet been announced but is sure to include some famous names from the Island and beyond. Questions are selected just before the programme begins and the questioners appear live on the broadcast.
