Local charity Aspire Ryde said goodbye to one of its founders earlier this month.
After 8 years at the charity, Jules Monaghan is moving on to work alongside her husband Heath in his role as Anglican Pioneer Minister in Ryde.
Having started the charity with Heath in 2014, Aspire has grown to become one of the Islands busiest community hubs and now runs 2 buildings in Ryde alongside the Living Well and Early Help service across the Island.
Trevor Nicholas, Chief Executive, has said:
“Jules has been the driving force behind our culture as a charity and has made sure that we haven’t lost our personal welcome and family atmosphere as we’ve grown. We will miss her wit and wisdom but we look forward to seeing what she does next.”
Aspire took a short break from their production of hundreds of Christmas hampers to host a party for Jules to allow staff and volunteers to say goodbye with a number of former colleagues returning to take part.
