A 51-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly spitting at another man in Newport this afternoon (Friday).
Police were called to Newport Bus Station on Orchard Street at just before 13:00.
According to Hampshire Constabulary, officers were responding to reports that an individual was being aggressive and had pushed, and spat at, a second man.
After some element of resistance, a 51-year-old was arrested on suspicion of common assault.
At his age he should know better for God sake. What’s wrong with some people. Someone should spit in his face, see how he likes it
Disgusting yob. Jail him over Christmas and award maximum damages to the victim

The Police should have broken its jaw whilst resiting arrest, then see how it spits.
