Aldi will be opening the doors to its brand new Isle of Wight store at Spithead Business Centre in Lake with an exciting golden ticket event next Thursday (8th September) at 08:00.
The store will be officially opened by Store Manager Lee Illman in a grand ribbon cutting ceremony. Golden envelopes will be handed out to the first 100 people in the queue, each containing a prize. Lucky customers will be in with the chance of winning a range of products including a 40” Smart TV, Garmin SatNav, £50 Hamper and bags of Aldi shopping.
Customers who attend the opening will also be able to sample fresh hot Aldi sausage and bacon sandwiches.
The store, which stands at 1,140 sqm, is supported by 99 car parking spaces and will create 38 jobs in varying positions from managerial to caretaker.
Following the store opening, Aldi will be making a product donation to the local Broadlea Primary School to support its Harvest Festival.
In store, shoppers can expect to find around 1,500 product lines including fresh, locally sourced produce, as well as weekly ‘Specialbuys’. Aldi’s ‘Specialbuys’ are available every Thursday and Sunday, offering customers a range of products from fresh produce to electrical goods.
Reduced opening week offers include Electric Hedge Trimmers (was £19.99, now £9.99), Wooden Director Chair (was £24.99, now £9.99), Wildlife Camera (was £69.99, now £34.99) and Premium Bread Maker (was £49.99, £19.99).
Following its opening, the store located off Newport Road will be open:
Monday to Saturday: 08:00-22:00
Sunday: 10:00-16:00
Bank Holiday: 08:00-22:00
