The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are assisting the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service with rescuing a woman from the balcony of her flat in School Street, Ryde this afternoon (Saturday).
1 appliance from Ryde, an aerial ladder platform from Ryde and the rescue tender from Newport are currently in attendance at the scene alongside an ambulance and 2 rapid response paramedics.
It is currently unclear as to the reason behind the rescue from the 3-storey building.
