6-year-old Mila Roper is to have her hair cut for the 1st time this month and will donate it to The Little Princess Trust while also raising funds and awareness for the charity.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. The charity is also 1 of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
Mila has recently spoke about cutting her hair which is very long as she has never had it cut. Her Grandma told her about the Little Princess Trust and how she could donate her hair to them to make wigs for poorly children who have lost their own hair.
Mila is a loving and kind little girl who shows so much empathy towards others at such a young age. After learning about this charity she decided she wanted to go ahead with cutting her hair so ‘the poorly children can have hair again and make them feel better’.
So on 21st July Mila will be cutting off her hair into a short bob at Jojo’s salon in Freshwater and donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust. Her family have also launched a fundraising campaign in aid of the chairty.
You can follow Mila’s progress and donate to her fundraising campaign on her JustGiving page.

Great news! I donate my hair to princess trust every 2 years. Such a lovely feeling to know you’re making a child feel better during their worst times.
Ahh bless her lovely thought to help others well done
