Ryde Golf Club was the venue for this year’s Captain’s Day with 44 players taking part in a 9-hole Texas Scramble competition in teams of 4.
Marg Kirby (IWLGA Captain) hosted the event which included a lunch for all the players.
In first spot with a score of 26 were Julie Miller (Shanklin & Sandown), Tricia Penn (Ryde), Jo Tucker (Newport) and Louise Webb (Westridge)
Close behind and taking second prize were Lorrie Hawkins (Shanklin & Sandown), Rosie Walshe (Ryde), Barbara Sleap (Westridge) and Gill Robinson (Osborne) with a score of 27.
