A van has collided into the rear of a car, which in turn has caused a pile up involving 2 other vehicles, on the northbound dual carriageway in Newport this afternoon (Saturday).
Police and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are in attendance on Medina Way having been called to the scene at around 14:15.
3 cars and a Luton van have been involved in the low-speed collision.
Traffic is heavy in the area whilst the incident is dealt with by the emergency services.
Motorists should divert via Riverway.
It’s not covid shutdown we need, it’s island drivers that need a shutdown….

Awkward moment when I was the youngest ever female to gain a coach licence in the UK 9 years ago…. I’ve always been an “island driver” so kind of puts your argument to shame when an island driver most likely has a more advanced licence than you……

When my granddaughter hit a tree in the middle of the road at 6am in the morning all alone they wouldn’t come out to help a 22 year old girl with a rite off car .pathetic
