The Isle of Wight Homes and Interiors Show, which took place on 12th and 13th October, was the biggest yet with quality home and interior businesses exhibiting and more than 1,600 visitors attending across the weekend.
The event, sponsored by BCM Wilson Hill, was held at East Afton Farmhouse, which has just undergone a design transformation by the talented Studio Jute. Farmhouse tours to see the new interiors proved to be very popular, along with coffee tasting workshops in the farmhouse kitchen by Island Roasted, a sewing studio in the farmhouse dining room and candle wellness workshops in the farmhouse lounge by Mindfully Lit.
The exhibition barn was home to an array of industry experts such as Lifeline Alarm Systems, Apollo Blinds, ERMC, Cotton & Leaf, Islandwide Carpets and many more including Modh Design who offered visitors a free design clinic. In the gorgeous outdoor rustic stone barn award-winning interior lifestyle store, Bayliss & Booth, had a stunning central display bursting with new season homeware and gifts next to the expert kitchen team at Howdens who proved to be very popular among guests looking for a shiny new kitchen.
Classical Jazz music filled the courtyard as visitors enjoyed the luxurious home event in style. Champagne was flowing and delicious canapés by The Heron were enjoyed by those who opted for VIP tickets.
“This event is truly unique and has proved to be a huge success for the Island and businesses over the past three years” says founder Hannah Wilson. “It was a gamble to increase the event to two days this year, but we’re thrilled with the results and already planning next year’s show!”

“What a brilliant event this year! It was the perfect opportunity for us at East Afton to showcase all that the venue has to offer and all of the new changes made in the last few months. We enjoyed welcoming all exhibitors, in creating a weekend full of inspiration, expertise and ideas! We look forward to hosting again in 2025 and hope to welcome everyone back again.”

“The Homes and Interiors Show is a really top event here on the Island. Very well organised, amazing attention to detail everywhere you look, and lovely organisers who always seem calm when they probably have 101 things to do, remember, sort out etc. So glad I pushed myself to squeeze this event into a very busy schedule, it’s definitely been worth it for all the reasons mentioned above.”
Mark Lee, Managing Director, Lifeline Alarm Systems said:
