30-year-old Paul Bishton has been charged with 2 assault offences following an incident on Sandown’s Fort Street on Bank Holiday Monday.
Police were called to an address on Fort Street at around 21:20 on 27th December to reports of an assault.
2 men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were allegedly assaulted. The man in his 40s suffered serious injuries.
Paul Anthony Bishton, of Fort Street, was arrested and has since been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault by beating.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
