3 men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after 4 jet skis were taken from a compound in Yaverland during the early hours of Monday morning.
As previously reported by Island Echo, an appeal for information was launched earlier this week after 3 individuals were captured on CCTV breaking into Yaverland Sailing and Boat Club.
Hampshire Constabulary have now confirmed that a 38-year-old man from Newport, a 39-year-old man from Newport and a 39-year-old man from Totland have been arrested.
The trio have been released from custody but remain under investigation at this time.
The jet skis remain outstanding and Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about this theft to call 101, quoting 44200345465




























































































A small fine, few hours community unpaid work…blah blah. I imagine we could all predict the sentence now.
Perhaps the jet ski community could, once named take them out for a little ride to show them the fun, and danger, involved.
As sadly we relinquished self punishment to allow the Police and courts to do such for us, but one doesn’t keep to the agreement any longer.
