Classique Dance Studios in Ryde have 3 finalists in the Southwest aerial and pole championships – a massive competition in the Pole and Aerial Arts.
Tabs and Annika have secured places in the Pole Acrobatics, and Cara is an Aerial Hoop finalist.
All 3 finalists have been selected from up to 30 in each category down to the small selection to perform in Exeter to a row of high-end judges in the industry. This is the 1st competition for each of the finalists – 2 of whom have been learning for less than a year.
Director Chanique Green has also been invited to be a judge on Saturday for the junior and adult aerial hoop finals. Her own students will be performing on Sunday in the Youth finals.
Chanique has said:
“We are extremely proud of everyone who has entered motivation and commitment! They have all come so far in their journey in the sport.
“This was your first competition, and there will be many more to come.”
