Police on the Isle of Wight have arrested 3 teenage boys following an alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl during the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Officers are questioning two 14-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of sexual assault following an incident involving a 13-year-old female overnight.
The National Police Air Service helicopter from Bournemouth was scrambled to what is thought to be the Cowes area at around 01:20 before officers on the ground detained the trio.
All 3 remain in custody at Newport Police Station this afternoon.
