A total of 28 pairs took part in the final competition of the IWLGA golfing calendar with Osborne Golf Club as the venue for the 13-hole Stableford which was played ahead of the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Last year’s winner Lucy Burke from Newport Golf Club retained the trophy alongside a new partner, Stephanie Hart from Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club with a score of 27 points.
Close behind also with 27 points but losing out on countback were Sheila Richard and Kathryn Acklam from Freshwater Bay Golf Club and Hazel Buck and Gill Fahy from Osborne Golf Club who were 3rd.
IWLGA Captain Joan Dalrymple presented the prizes with President Lynne Maidment.
