26-year-old Dominic Crumby has been charged with 4 offences after women and girls were allegedly followed through the streets of Ryde earlier this month.
It was on 14th January that Police received reports that females in the Daniel Street, St John’s Road and Monkton Street areas had been followed by an unknown male, between the hours of 07:00-09:00.
A 26-year-old male was swiftly arrested, questioned and released on bail.
Now, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that Dominic Crumby, 26, of Daniel Street in Ryde, has been charged with 4 counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has been bailed with conditions and will appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on 14th February.

Wasn’t surprised to see it was him. An absolutely vile individual notorious for violence. Needs putting away for good but we all know it’s just going to be yet another slap on the wrist.
To get the CPS to recommend charges this man is patently a danger and an ongoing threat, so why is still on the streets, he will re =offend and god forbid something more serious happens.
