Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Ryde during which a man followed women and young girls back to their home addresses.
The worrying incident occurred between 07:00 and 09:00 yesterday morning (Tuesday) with females being followed in the Daniel Street, Monkton Street and St John’s Road areas.
Officers attended and arrested a 26-year-old man. He has since been bailed with conditions until 15th April while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“As part of our investigation we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed or experienced any behaviour of this nature in Ryde around this time.
