DRUGS RAID IN SHANKLIN LEADS TO CANNABIS AND CASH BEING SEIZED

A 44-year-old man has been arrested, questioned and released following a raid on a property in Shanklin. 

Officers executed a warrant at an address on Landguard Road earlier this morning (Monday).

A quantity of cannabis was seized alongside 2 lock knives, as well as a lump sum of money.

The 44-year-old has since been released under investigation.

Hampshire Constabulary said: “Officers will conduct an interview with a man in his 40s, who was at the address, at a later date.”
