Parkdean Resorts has announced a cash injection of more than £2.8million into its Isle of Wight parks at Thorness Bay, Nodes Point, Landguard and Lower Hyde.
The massive investment locally will go towards new accommodation and installing park-wide Wi-Fi capability, which will further improve the guest experience in 2022. This includes 7 new caravans at Nodes Point in St Helens and 32 upgraded caravans across all 4 parks, as well as the refurbishment of 11 lodges at Landguard in Shanklin.
It’s all part of a £140million nationwide investment.
Parkdean Resorts welcomed over 136,000 visitors to its Isle of Wight parks in 2021 and advance bookings are said to be at record levels. It all helps keep 450 people in employment.
Steve Richards, Chief Executive of Parkdean Resorts, has said:

By investing in our parks, we’re not only improving the guest experience, we’re also ensuring that holidaymakers keep coming back year after year, spending money in local shops, attractions, pubs and restaurants, and supporting the communities that rely so heavily on tourism. 2021 was a huge year for staycations, and our teams will continue to go above and beyond to deliver phenomenal service to our guests, making sure that 2022 is even better.”
Fantastic, bring much needed work to the islands economy. Just hope the NIMBY lot don’t get wind of this and object. They do anything to protect their house prices and keep people unemployed so they can feel superior, that is the tory way.

This site is terrible. It’s like a pikey site. Not in the same league as a Parkdean Resort site at all.
