A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of drug driving on Saturday night after reportedly being seen driving a powerful car dangerously. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report of a BMW 525i being driven dangerously in the vicinity of Noke Common Road, between Newport and Cowes, at around 21:30. Officers were deployed to the scene and soon located the car and its driver. Shockingly, it has been confirmed that the man behind the wheel was, in fact, a 15-year-old boy from Cowes – someone too young to hold a valid licence or insurance. A roadside drug wipe was conducted which returned a positive reading, resulting in the teen being arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue. This incident is the latest in recent months to involve underage drivers getting behind the wheel. It was back in August last year that a 15-year-old was caught driving an Audi A4. Then, in January, a 16-year-old lad was causing in a BMW 7-series. More recently, a 16-year-old was involved in a crash on Bleak Down just last Monday. 2 young males were seen fleeing from a crash near Whitwell over the weekend too…

“Where the Fcuk does a 15 year old get a car from??”
Parent’s car,.. or stolen
if stolen, fine the parents (a lot)
if Parent’s car,.. crush it!
That might encourage the parents to keep control of their little brats
(& please don’t try to use the excuse “well I try to control him, but he doens’t do what I say & just threatens me…”
Should have brought them up proper to start with…(or better still not had them in the first place))
arsehole with no idea about peer pressure and exploitation , obviousley raised perfect kids in your eyes never knew what you didnt know hey, parents must be druggies on benefits etc , you have no idea , quite alot of these kids come from what you would call better off famillies , but obviousley gotta blame poor people makes you feel better about yourself doesnt it
I said nothing about ‘poor people’, or ‘druggies on benefits etc’ (you said that, not me)
“alot of these kids come from what you would call better off famillies”,… again I said nothing to the contrary
(in fact, as the vehicle mentiond was a BMW 525i, my comment of “Parent’s car?” would point towards “better off famillies”) so please read what’s written before calling somone an “arsehole”
My point was that if you have kids (which is a choice) you have a responsibility to bring them up knowing right from wrong !
if parents had a legal (and financial) responsibility for what their (under the age of majority) kids got up to, then they might put more effort into it
Bring back National Conscription then send them to Ukraine.
This should be saved as a record permanently so any insurance would be sky high no matter the cost of the car – that is if he ever is allowed to drive !
Insurance? What’s that? Driving Licence? What’s that? MOT? What’s that?
The only thing that will stop people like this are to bang them up unless they get some sense and become decent citizens – which would probably mean banging them up until they die
could you try using English next time you feel like posting a comment,..
perhaps an education would help.
“people make mistakes”,..yeah, driving like a d1ck @ 15, while high on drugs is not a ‘mistake’
Just because your a boring low life doesn’t mean everyone’s gotta be boring with you
that should be you’re, not your !
perhaps an education would help (although probably not…. lol)

That reply should get a thumbs up from someone.
If Court’s don’t increase consequences then very soon there will be a serious accident or even death. These lads will be known to each and friend’s,others need to do right thing and snitch before a life is lost.
Becoming ‘Lawless Island”.
Where are these rat’s parents..?
The parents are probably too drunk and high on substances to even realise that their little darlings are doing anything unlawful. As well as what their brats are punished with the parents should have a huge fine taken out at source of their benefits at the rate of £100 per week.
Now people are better off by breeding, it is more of the ‘wrong sort’ who now have children.
So the policy of instead of working more hours if you had a child, has now changed so as you only need to do 16 / 20 hours work and get heavily subsidised or FREE rent, c.tax, prescriptions, dental care, HUNDREDS a week in universal credit, even more if the child, as many born to drug or alcohol abuser parents are, and have special needs if brain damaged etc, the a car is provided, taxi for school runs, all get extra help with food and energy payments, home insulation, school trips and uniforms, and so much more.
So the children instead of being useful often live on such as their parents did, and shove buggies themselves from puberty
Don’t be calling people rats through comments u low life knob
Ohh i bet his parents are so proud..that my little jimmy lovely lad…
Ban them for life from driving and having kids, because you just know the kids will follow in his footsteps
Life ban for driving, then if caught again 3 years prison
so when they wipe out a motorcyclist like the feral scum did to a friend of mine, they get 100 hrs community service…. an 18 month ban when they even consider applying for a licence…… these kids` parents need to be publicly exposed as well…… discipline starts in the home….. name and shame.
Very very dangerous place the rock
Where are they getting these cars from ?!
Parents on more benefits than a workman brings home, probably bought the little shit it for his birthday. And the Gestapo DWP nose into OUR bank accounts, even pensions to check if WE are cheating the system. HTF can we cheat the sytem when it is OUR OWN money that they are screwing us out of?

Stolen, probably!
”Shockingly, it has been confirmed that the man behind the wheel was, in fact, a 15-year-old boy”… hmm, man or boy?… I think child, or perhaps toddler given his brattish behavior!
FFS some of you lot are mad, wanting life time ban and castration for a childish mistake. 40yrs ago this wasnt such a big deal, happened all the time, teenagers were always stonned and having a go in mum/dads car.
Stonned?
surely you mean stoned?
didn’t excel at school did we?
“a childish mistake”???
driving like a d1ck @ 15, while high on drugs is not a ‘a childish mistake’
“teenagers were always stonned and having a go in mum/dads car.” … maybe you,.. but not most.
The reason teens are smoking so much now bc the world full of petty people like u
Why are all Adam’s idoits

There’s no deterrent. Penalty should be a huge fine, £1000 or more, confiscate mobile phone, xbox and ban from driving anything over 125 cc for 10 years then they might think that it’s not worth the risk.
Pretty sure he already thought it weren’t a good decision u pleb
