Jamie Hindson has donated £100 to Care in the Garden in Wootton – an organisation catering for social care to support people with disabilities gain work skills in retail, horticulture and woodwork.
Jamie says:
“I’ve been a big supporter of Care in the Garden for many years. Not only is it a local business, but it’s an organisation that’s teaching people with disabilities skills such as horticulture and woodwork. It’s given them a chance of a fantastic enterprise project to be a part of. I think it’s a brilliant service for what they do”
Jamie will make a further donation in April and will continue to support the community for the remainder of 2025 by donating each month until December 2025.
Jamie never been shy away to get involved in fundraising and donating. Some of this his donations and fun-raising events have included:
- 2009 – sponsor silent challenge for IW buddies club – £100 raised
- 2013 – YMCA sleep rough challenges in Southampton – over £2000+ raised
- 2016 – Abseiling down the UK highest waterfall – £100 raised for South West Children Hospice
- 2021 – Solo half marathon run – £1000 raised for IW mental health effected in pandemic – NHS/St George’s school
- 2024 – NHS Christmas children ward donation – £120 for children in hospital over the Christmas period.
