UPDATED: Firefighters from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been called to a motorcycle fire in Ryde tonight (Saturday).
1 fire appliance from Ryde Fire Station is on scene at North Walk having been called to the reports of a bike being on fire at just after 23:00.
A police van is also in attendance near to the canoe lake, where the incident has unfolded.
Crews are using a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
UPDATE @ 23:32 – The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have now stood down from the incident.
The bike has been destroyed by fire.
