The Isle of Wight Youth Trust has announced the appointment of 2 new trustees – Ros Parker and Vicki Sitch – as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people across the Isle of Wight.
Ros Parker, Principal and CEO of the Isle of Wight College, and Vicki Sitch, a consultant specialising in organisational change and transformation, have both joined the Board to help steer the charity’s future development.
The appointments are said to mark an important step in the Youth Trust’s strategic direction, adding fresh leadership experience and professional insight to further its mission of empowering young people to thrive.
Ros Parker OBE brings extensive experience from the education sector, having held senior leadership roles across multiple colleges and educational institutions. She is known for her work in driving improvements in student outcomes, and has a long-standing commitment to student wellbeing, equality and inclusivity. Ros is expected to play a central role in shaping the charity’s strategy and operations.
Vicki Sitch brings expertise in leading transformation projects across both the public and private sectors. Her experience includes performance management, culture change, corporate governance and systems implementation. In addition to her consultancy work, she also runs a successful local glamping business and has previously served as a governor at The Bay CE School.

“Ros and Vicki have first-hand experience of the challenges faced by young islanders, and important skills for our growth ambitions. I am delighted to welcome them both to the Board.”
