One of the Isle of Wight’s most loved coastal venues, Salty’s in Yarmouth, is set to reopen later this month, just in time for the busy Summer season.
The venue has been taken over by Quay Hospitality Group, a growing name in the South’s hospitality scene, known for revitalising venues while staying true to their roots.
Quay Hospitality Group already operates several well-known establishments, including The Thomas Tripp in Christchurch, the popular Bodega brand with sites in Christchurch and Southbourne, 18 Bar & Restaurant, and The Smugglers in Purewell.
Their approach combines strong community focus with high-quality food and a vibrant atmosphere — something they are excited to bring to Salty’s when it reopens on 29th April.
The new owners have made it clear that their vision is simple – to return Salty’s to what it does best.
A spokesperson has said:
“We want to bring Salty’s back to its heyday — a brilliant, buzzing atmosphere paired with great seafood done really well.
“When you get a table at Salty’s, the chances are you’ll know someone. Let the party begin.”
Located in the heart of Yarmouth, Salty’s has long been known as a social hub where locals and visitors come together to enjoy fresh seafood and lively evenings. The reopening aims to restore that reputation, blending quality dining with a welcoming, energetic environment.
The reopening comes after Salty’s shut its doors early for the 2025 season, with questions previously raised about what lay ahead for the popular venue.
The doors reopen on Wednesday 29th April.
