2 people have been freed from a lift in Cowes this morning (Friday).
1 fire appliance from Cowes Fire Station was mobilised at 08:56 to a property off the High Street.
Hand tools and a halligan bar were used to pry open the lift’s door.
The 2 people stuck inside the lift were quickly freed.
I hope the rescuers lifted there spirits..
It wasn’t Norman Clegg and Marina was it?

Actually Clegg and Marina had been stuck in a lift and had to cuddle up to keep warm, but Clegg didn’t like to be reminded of it afterwards.

I’m terrified of lifts, that’s why I’m taking steps to avoid them.
