“Antonia Louise Fisher, 36, of Oak Vale in Ryde, has been charged with driving a vehicle with alcohol above the legal limit.
“She is due to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on 17th October.”

At least one seriously damaged, think maybe two. Did she hit any others on her way round maybe ?. If you can hit parked car’s how do you miss moving ones?. Danger to all at that time when streets full of people who also may be less alert.
Boy racers are destroying our Island!
I never feel sorry for idiots like you,
your just pathetic little weasel, many on this island thinking they can say what they like and do what they like.
One day you might grow up, but I doubt it.
Mainland people moving here are destroying the island
Really Meme you believe that. When I was there working it was men born there that had bad education through the bad council decisions that were chucking rubbish on to roads and even seen one having a can of beer before heading back to Shanklin. Not just mainlanders. If it wasn’t us lot going to that rock it be dead by now. And there’s more beautiful places here then just that rock
See you answer my question you think you’re better we have got on ok before you lot came over with your holiday homes and private signs best if you don’t come to are rock then
Mainlanders make this island survive, they work and bring the money. Without them the island would just be a care home run by morons only out for self gain.
I agree old people on the roads and clogging up the services is a much bigger problem.
she was only 36???
How on earth has that got to do with anything in this article?… Blame the woman who crashed whilst drunk, not ‘boy racers’. Pleb.
Can we make her leader of the iow council now then?
She does pass the test
Sad………
Women drivers seem to be as bad as men on the island. Are they trying to prove something? God help us all!!
Fortunately ( but not for the innocent parked car owner ) no one was injured or killed, this happens all over the UK and is NOT acceptable, had deaths and injuries occurred, this would be a news story on the national news bringing more shame to OUR part of the UK.
Until this country gets a grip and that includes the Island this will continue, Drugs, Assault, Murders, and Drunk drivers all becoming a part of everyday life.
For your info rarely do fatal crashes make national news as you seem to believe.
Have to feel sorry for the innocent party , so much inconvenience, re insurance,…..
She should be made to pay for a hire car as well as being banned and a hefty fine !!!!!
And they want to get older drivers off the road. it’s not us driving pissed/snort/smacked. It’s not us defying speed limits and road rules, so leave us alone and sort out the real problem
just anther day on the isle of Wight. And yes it’s Ryde
You are happy in your sad world if it gives you some pleasure to write this drivel then so be it, people’s lives are in danger for whatever reason and that is all you can come up with.
Take a look at yourself, do you see what others see? clearly not. You are clearly unable to put a meaningful comment together. If this makes you happy then you have served your purpose.
Me thinks you doth protest too much….
Do you work for Ordinance Survey?
Don’t say it was another person from the mainland who was dragged up on the rock.
Oak vale suprise suprise
Only one way to deal with drink drivers, bang them up.
“These morons could kill someone”
The country is too soft on drink driving.
Shame about your bad work cowboy Paul
Everyone convicted of either drug or drink driving should be forced to re-take their driving test again before being allowed back on the road.
News flash. They get a ban, minimum 12 months. Been that way for the last 50 years.
When are these stupid people going to understand, you don’t drive if you’ve had a drink. Simple. It was a car she crashed into, this is bad enough, causing much inconvenience to the poor owner, though these drunk drivers don’t care about that! It so easily could have been a human life this stupid bi*ch took away.
