Police are appealing for witnesses following a physical altercation between the occupants of a grey Audi and a tipper lorry in Lake earlier this week.
The incident occurred at around 14:45 on Tuesday (13th May) at the junction of Sandown Road and Newport Road.
Island Echo understands that the driver of the Audi got out of the vehicle and started becoming aggressive towards a passenger in the scaffolding van.
As part of ongoing enquiries, a 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and driving without due care and attention. He has been released on bail until 13th August while the investigation continues.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have Dash Cam or mobile phone footage of what happened.
