Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses to an incident at Newport Bus Station this afternoon (Wednesday), which has resulted in an arrest being made.
Officers were called to the bus station in the heart of Newport following reports of a man being threatening and abusive.
The incident occurred between 13:00 and 13:30.
Hampshire Constabulary are asking anyone who saw the incident to call Police on 101 quoting 44200493520. Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from witnesses as soon as possible.
It’s been confirmed that a 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
