Wight Whisky has announced the limited release of their No.1 Single Malt, following on from the successful launch of their Signature Malt Blend in 2024.
Hand-crafted on the Isle of Wight using locally-sourced barley and pure Island spring water, this limited edition, exceptional single malt whisky is a true celebration of their Isle of Wight heritage, capturing the unique terroir of their coastal home.
The full-strength single malt whisky is presented in a striking premium bottle and beautifully designed gift box, priced at £125. The plastic-free bottle has been crafted from recyclable glass and features a sustainably sourced natural cork stopper and tamper-proof seal made from corn and potato starch, which composts in food waste recycling within 6-12 weeks.
Only 400 individually numbered bottles have been released, making this a rare collector’s item for whisky connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
Lucy Gregg, Co-Founder of Wight Whisky, has said:
“Our No.1 Single Malt is the purest expression of our island — the first of its kind, it has been shaped by long sunlit days, salty sea air and the richness of our Island’s precious soil. Every sip tells a story of local barley, island spring water and the passionate hands that brought them together.
“We are super proud to release this limited edition whisky that so authentically captures the beauty and essence of our Island home”.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramel, baking spice, candied peel and a hint of sea salt.
Palate: Toasted vanilla, creamy fudge, dark chocolate and a hint of smoke.
Finish: A sumptuously smooth and creamy finish.
Sounds awesome, well done shame I hate whiskey.
Way overpriced.
