When it comes to deciding where to visit when staying in Spain, there are many things to consider. Are you interested in a beach break? A city break? Or would you consider a road trip and visiting multiple destinations at once? – This is a great way to see both ends of Spain.

Beach Break
Spain is known for its wonderful beaches dotted all around the country. Ibiza, Majorca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria (there are many great villas in gran canaria), these all have a myriad of beaches just waiting for you to visit. Most benefits with crystal clear waters and golden sandy beaches for you to sink your feet into.
When looking into a beach break, things to consider are: the restaurants in the area, water sports that are available at the beach, cost of accommodation, and any restrictions on the beaches. In most cases, a quick Google will show different user reviews of the beaches you are planning on visiting.
City Break
The opposite of a beach break would be a city break and Spain is known for having some lovely cities to visit. First of all, you have to include Barcelona and Madrid in your list of places to visit. Barcelona has many wonderful sights to see as well as restaurants to visit (and it has a beach for you to enjoy too). Madrid is known for its culture, being the capital of Spain, and their football team. Other cities to consider visiting would include Saville, Granada, San Sebastián, and Toledo.
Road Trip
A compromise of the two options above is a road trip. Road trips enable you to visit cities as well as beach destinations at once. It’s a great way to visit multiple places and feel like you are seeing a lot on your holiday. Road trip suggestions would include Castille to Leon, Barcelona to San Sebastian, or Malaga to Granada. The number of places you visit and the distance you travel very much depends on how long you are going to be going away.
