A flock of around 50 sheep that are thought to have escaped from a field have been causing chaos on the roads near Freshwater Bay this morning (Saturday). At just before 08:00, Police were alerted to around 50 sheep roaming around on Military Road, between Compton and Freshwater. Efforts are ongoing to locate the shepherd and round up the animals. Motorists are being warned that a sheep could surprise you or be in the road when you are driving in that area. If you are the owner of these sheep you are asked to contact Police on 101, quoting 0468.
